Elective Foreign Languages

This specific course category is restricted to students of the School of Letters and the School of Human Sciences. These credits must be earned independently of the three primary categories: First Foreign Language, Second Foreign Language, and Global Understanding. For the “Elective Foreign Language” requirement, students may select one language per semester (Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter) from the following options: English, German, French, Russian, Chinese, Greek, or Latin. Unlike the Second Foreign Language track, it is not mandatory to complete all required credits within a single language.
